Payment Terms

Standard Payment Terms: 5% 10 days net 30
Summer Fill Terms: 5% paid by October 1st net October 31st

We accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Please do not send cash through the mail.

Overdue Accounts

Finance Charge will be assessed on overdue accounts at the rate of 1.5% per month (18% APR).
To avoid this finance charge, we have the following options available to you:

  1. Budget Plans/Even Payment Plan – This plan is based on average usage and/or your account history. Based on this information, an average monthly payment is set up for you and is due each month. This program typically runs from June to May for a total of twelve (12) months. You are given the option to adjust your payment starting in March, and accounts are expected to be at a zero balance in May to start the new EPP year in June.
  2. Payment Arrangements – We understand that circumstances arise and we are happy to work with you. Please call the office immediately at (217) 672-3513 if you are unable to pay your bill in 30 days to make payment arrangements.

Off Route/Out of Gas Delivery Fee

You will be charged a fee of $150.00 if you need an after hours, weekend, or holiday delivery. An “out of gas” charge of $75.00 will be assessed for deliveries made during normal business hours when the tank is completely empty of propane. This fee includes the fee for the mandatory out of gas leak check.  A special trip charge of $25.00 will be assessed for deliveries made during normal business hours when service is needed and trucks are rerouted. These fees are in addition to the propane delivered. To avoid these fees, we require advance notice of five business days for all “Will Call” customers. Please monitor your tank closely to avoid an “Off Route Delivery Fee.”

Note: This fee does not apply to Agricultural Dryers or “Keep Full” customers.

To avoid this fee, we encourage you to call the office and make sure your account is a Keep Full or Even Pay account. With these types of accounts Big B Agro will monitor your usage and will place you on a delivery basis, and you will never incur this fee as long as your account is current.
